The Dray (708 NW 65th Street) is celebrating a year in business and winding down Seattle Beer Week with a BBQ in the parking lot behind the bar, after 1pm.

- I moved to Seattle in 2001 without ever having seen the city. I fell in love with it and have spent the last several years soaking up as much as possible of what the city has to offer. I initially landed in Ballard and think it is the most singularly interesting neighborhood in Seattle. That is not to say there aren't other great neighborhoods but the setting, the unique history and the people all make Ballard unforgettable.
